Despite it's almost unknown in Europe, the Yamaha Scorpio 225cc is very popular in Asia and this isn't the first time that we can appreciate its potential wondering why these kind of bikes disappeared from the western market.. At Studio Motor, in Jakarta, they do not have this kind of problem, and build regularly such little beauties. It must be said that the several changes made to the original would make really hard to have such a bike street legal in Europe... But carry on dreaming.

Sebbene sia pressoché sconosciuta in Europa, la Yamaha 225cc Scorpio è molto popolare in Asia e non è la prima volta che possiamo apprezzare il suo potenziale, continuando a chiederci perché questo tipo di moto sia scomparso dal mercato occidentale... Alla Studio Motor di Jakarta, non hanno questo genere di problemi, e costruiscono regolarmente piccole meraviglie del genere. Va detto che le varie modifiche apportate all'originale renderebbero davvero difficile omologare una moto di questo tipo in Europa... ma continuiamo a sognare.
